Most websites need more than a contact form. Whether it's a multi-step application, a booking or quote request, a survey, or a form that has to talk to your CRM, we build forms in Umbraco that do exactly what you need - and behave properly once they're live. As a certified Umbraco Silver Partner, we work with both Umbraco Forms and fully bespoke form development, so you get the right tool for the job.

What is Umbraco Forms?

Umbraco Forms is the official forms package for Umbraco. It lets your editors build and manage forms directly in the Umbraco back office - no developer needed for everyday changes - with fields, validation and workflows that run when a form is submitted. It's a licensed add-on, so there's a licence cost, but in return your team can create and edit forms themselves without touching code.

Bespoke and complex forms

Some forms outgrow the standard toolkit. We build the ones that don't fit a template:

  • Multi-step and multi-page forms, with progress kept as you go

  • Conditional logic - fields and sections that appear based on earlier answers

  • Calculations, quotes and scoring built into the form

  • File uploads, document handling and secure attachments

  • Custom field types and custom validation rules

  • Accessible forms, built to WCAG standards so everyone can complete them

Integrations

A form is only useful if the data goes somewhere. We connect your forms to the systems you already run - so a submission can create a lead in your CRM, take a payment, trigger an email or workflow, or post straight into another system through its API. That means no re-keying, and no submissions sitting in an inbox waiting to be actioned.

Secure, spam-free and GDPR-friendly

Forms are one of the most common ways a website gets attacked or spammed, so we build them to be safe: spam and bot protection, secure handling of what people submit, and data handled in line with UK GDPR - collected for a clear purpose, stored securely in the UK, and kept only as long as you need it. If you'd like your wider setup checked, our Umbraco Security Review covers form and upload configuration too.

Support for your forms

Already using Umbraco Forms and need a hand - a new form, a tricky integration, or something that's stopped working? We offer Umbraco support and hosting that looks after your forms alongside the rest of your website.

How much does bespoke form development cost?

It depends on how complex the form is and what it needs to connect to. A straightforward form is quick; a multi-step form with integrations and custom logic is more involved. We quote a clear, fixed price once we understand what you need - see our guide to how much an Umbraco website costs, or tell us about your form and we'll give you an estimate.

Frequently Asked Questions

Both are options. Umbraco Forms is great when your team wants to create and edit forms themselves, and it's the right choice for many websites. For very bespoke requirements - complex logic, unusual integrations or a specific user experience - we can build a fully custom form instead. We'll recommend whichever fits your needs and budget.

No - Umbraco Forms is a licensed add-on with a licence cost, separate from Umbraco's free open-source core. We'll explain the current licensing when we scope your project so there are no surprises. If a fully bespoke form is a better fit, that's an option too.

Yes. We regularly integrate forms with CRMs, payment providers, email and marketing tools, and other systems through their APIs, so submissions flow straight into the tools you already use rather than landing in an inbox.

Yes. We're happy to take on an existing Umbraco website and its forms - whether you need a new form, a change to an existing one, an integration adding, or a problem fixing.
